If I pay my citation before my assigned court date, do I still have to appear in court?
No. If a citation is paid before your scheduled court date, your court appearance is not required.
What if I'm unable to pay my citation by my court date?
You should appear in court on or before your court date and request a payment plan. Municipal Court is located at 112 S. 3rd. Access to the courtroom is from the lobby of the Police Department.
If I have a warrant for my arrest, what are my options?
You can either pay with cash, cashier's check, money order or credit card at the Court Clerk's office. If you feel you may have a warrant, you can check by clicking the Warrant link to the left. Your warrant may have been turned over to our collection agency. Please contact the court for more information.
If I received a No Insurance ticket, but I have insurance, what are my options?
The ticket will be dismissed if you provide a valid insurance verification which was in force at the time of the stop to the Court Clerk's office before your court date. If, however, you didn't have insurance at the time of the stop, but purchased it later, please see the judge. The judge will reduce the cost of the ticket and protect your license from being suspended.
Can I reschedule my court date?
Yes. Your court date may be rescheduled up to two weeks, one time only. Please contact the Court Clerk's office at 918-680-3172.
What should I do if I currently have a pay plan, but I cannot make this month's payment?
In order to extend a payment plan, you must see the judge.
