The Muskogee Community Landfill is partnering with the City of Muskogee, for a Free Dump Day from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, April 21, at the Muskogee Community Landfill located at 2801 S. 54th St. West, between Hancock and Peak.
During this time, Residents of Muskogee who identify themselves with a valid driver’s license and a current City of Muskogee water bill, will be able to use the landfill free of charge. Those who do not present this information will be charged the regular rate. Commercial businesses are not eligible to participate in Free Dump Day.
A heavy turnout is expected, so participants are encouraged to enter from the North side, off of Hancock and onto 54th St. Short wait times may also be experienced.
Refrigerators, air conditioners, freezers and other items containing Freon will only be accepted with a certificate showing the Freon has been purged.
Truckloads of tree limbs and brush will be accepted from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday April 21, at the Limb and Brush Drop-Off Site, located at 40th and Denver. No stumps will be accepted. Residents must also present a valid driver’s license and current City of Muskogee water bill to use the Limb and Brush Drop-Off Site.
